GANTRY ROBOT SERVING ROLLING MILL CONVEYOR
The robot removes plates from the mill exit roller conveyor and stacks them on a bench placed on the side of the roller conveyor.
It is composed of 2 autonomous and synchronized robotic arms that run on the structure anchored to the ground which move a mechanical gripper which automatically orients itself to the angle of stop of the plate on the roller.
During the journey the plate is marked.
The fast cycle time, the high temperature marking, the accuracy of the stacking, the prevention of damage on the surface of the plates make the system highly performing
